Welcome
Welcome
to the website of the New Brunswick Veterinary Medical Association (NBVMA)!
The NBVMA is the regulatory body for veterinarians and the practice of
veterinary medicine in New Brunswick. Veterinarians must be members of the
NBVMA in order to practice veterinary medicine in the province.
The
NBVMA and veterinarians in New Brunswick strive for excellence in the
practice of veterinary medicine, through our continuing education
programs, the setting of practice standards, practice inspections, and the
work of the NBVMA Council, committees and members. The veterinary
profession is deeply committed to promoting animal health, animal care and
welfare, food safety and responsible animal stewardship, and preventing
public health problems related to animal disease.
If you
have any specific questions about your animal, please consult your local
veterinarian. There are qualified members in your area that would be glad
to assist you. Kindly refer to your local telephone book under
veterinarian.
We are
pleased that you have visited us and encourage you to check out our
website in more detail, as well as to connect with our links.
